# Metermark

> Know what your AI spend is worth: cost and output per tool, who uses it best, and which projects drove the value. Nothing from the conversation is stored.

## What it is
- Connects across the AI tools a company pays for: Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude.ai, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex, Azure OpenAI, Windsurf and Devin, each labelled by how much the vendor exposes.
- A small agent on each machine reads the history the AI tools already keep, labels each session by the kind of work, and syncs a row of labels and counts to a hosted dashboard. Vendor admin keys add organization-level usage.
- Nothing from the conversation is stored: not the prompt, not the reply, not what a tool returned. The prompt is labelled on the machine and thrown away.
- A read-only API and an MCP server expose every number.
- Install with one command, or deploy to a fleet with Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle or Intune.

## Who it's for
Engineering leaders (VP Engineering, Head of Platform, DevEx) who have to show what AI coding tools are worth, and the finance or procurement people who own the AI tool budget. Built for engineering teams on Cursor, Copilot and Claude Code; one developer can use it on their own data.
